Terms of Service

Last updated: June 22, 2026

1. Acceptance

By installing or using AutoCoder.dev (the "Software"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software in accordance with these Terms and your subscription plan. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Software except as permitted by law.

3. Autonomous execution — your responsibility

AutoCoder is an autonomous agent that can read, modify, create, and delete files and execute commands on your device using your own LLM API key. You are solely responsible for the directories you grant it access to, for reviewing its changes, and for maintaining backups and version control. Run it only on projects where you accept this risk.

4. Bring-your-own-key (BYOK)

You are responsible for your own LLM provider account, API key, usage, and any charges your provider bills you. The Software calls your provider directly from your device.

5. Subscriptions & billing

Paid features are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Software to create malware, violate others' rights, or break applicable law. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or our control-plane endpoints.

7. Disclaimer of warranty

The Software is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated code may contain errors; you must review and test all output before relying on it.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, code, or profits arising from your use of the Software, including changes made by the autonomous agent.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
